Denver Broncos quarterback Case Keenum only played one season with the Minnesota Vikings but in such a short time together the two had quite the story. From not even knowing if he would be on the Vikings opening day roster to being the starting quarterback for the Minneapolis Miracle, Keenum will always be a part of the Vikings history.

At the end of the season, Keenum said he would love to be back in Minnesota and he really enjoyed his time in the purple and gold. The Vikings decided to go in a different direction bringing in Kirk Cousins and  Keenum went to the mile high city. Even with the Vikings deciding to move in a different direction, Keenum said he has no hard feelings towards his former team.

“I love all of those guys,” Keenum said after Wednesday’s practice via the Denver Post. “It’s going to be a competition and we’re going to get after it. I know those guys (on Minnesota) are going to be jacked to get back on the field just like I’m jacked to get back on the field.”

Even though Keenum will only probably play one or two series it will be a good test in how far he has come so far with the Broncos. The Vikings are one of the best defenses in the league and even though he went against them every day in practice last year, it's still going to be a battle.

The Vikings and Broncos play Saturday night in Denver.
