The Minnesota Vikings have had a big storyline going on lately, and it's not a good one. There have been some issues stirring and it appears some players aren't happy.

Wide receiver Adam Thielen appeared to call out quarterback Kirk Cousins this week. So did head coach Mike Zimmer.

Then came the Stefon Diggs saga. It has been speculated for some time that Diggs isn't happy in Minnesota and wants to move on.

However, now that appears to be out in the open. Diggs didn't appear at practice this week for a non-injury related reason. He also spoke to the media and did not deny that he's unhappy with the situation.

Now according to Josh Alper of ProFootballTalk.com, the superstar wide receiver might not even play in Week 5 against the New York Giants.

What's craziest about this situation is that it's all still an unknown. The game is inching closer and closer and Minnesota still doesn't know if they'll have one of their star receivers.

Diggs isn't putting up amazing numbers this year. Through four weeks, he has just 13 receptions for 209 yards and one touchdown. However, that goes back to how he's being used.

Last season, Diggs racked up 102 receptions for 1,021 yards and nine touchdowns. Clearly, he has that elite potential inside him. It's up to the Vikings to use him properly. When he's in the right situation and getting the ball, he'll produce with the best of them.

That being said, it appears this is up to Diggs now. He has already been punished by the team for skipping practice, so if he's going to play it's up to him to show up. This might come down to the wire.
