Drew Brees has been getting flak for his recent comments regarding the 2016 Colin Kaepernick protests. People in the media, the public and even his own New Orleans Saint teammates have come out and criticized the future Hall of Famer. However, no one has been more critical of Brees than former Baltimore Ravens star Ed Reed.

The nine-time Pro Bowler posted a video on social media of a rant against Brees' comments, which can be summarized as the Saints star never agreeing with anybody disrespecting the flag.

ā€œWhy do you think all these young people are out here protesting?ā€ the Ravens icon said while addressing Drew Brees in the video. ā€œThe looting? I could see you speaking on the looting and saying that's bad, that you dont support that but why do you think all these people are out here protesting?ā€

Ed Reed retired in 2013 as one of the best safeties to ever play in the NFL. He was enshrined in the Hall of Fame last year. As for Brees, many believe that 2020 the veteran QB's final season before he hangs up the cleats.
