After everything New York Jets quarterback Teddy Bridgewater has gone through the last few years, it's a blessing that he is finally back healthy and able to play the game he loves and he calls it “a wonderful feeling.” Bridgewater suffered a devastating knee injury right before he was set to open the 2016 season with the Minnesota Vikings.

He looked to be the quarterback of the future and everything looked to be heading up for him and the Vikings. The injury set the Vikings scrambling trying to find a new quarterback and it led the doctors to try and save Bridgewater's leg.

Some said if it wasn't for the Vikings training staff's quick thinking he might have lost his leg so even being able to walk and play football at this point is quite the blessing.

“Right now, I'm doing everything I dreamed of doing — and that's waking up and continuing to play football,” Bridgewater said via ESPN. “It's a wonderful feeling. It gives me chills right now to think about it, knowing how the previous two years were.”

Even with Bridgewater healthy, he is still in a fight to even be on an NFL roster this season. Bridgewater is currently second behind Josh McCown on the Jets' unofficial depth chart but with rookie Sam Darnold currently holding the 3rd spot, he could find himself being the odd man out. Right now that isn't a concern for Bridgewater as he is just happy to be playing the game he loves again.
