Zach Wilson and the New York Jets looked like they were right at the cusp of pulling off an epic upset the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday.
However, Tom Brady and Co. were able to restore order to the NFL universe (Antonio Brown not withstanding) as they erased what was a 14-point second half Jets lead to come back and take the victory, 28-24.
Opposing QBs Brady and Wilson shared a moment after the game, with the Jets QB divulging the simple message Tom had for him during the postgame presser.

While it's a classic cookie-cutter message from Tom Brady, it's surely something that'll stick to a neophyte signal-caller. Despite the defeat, Zach Wilson was encouraged by the Jets' showing against the defending Super Bowl champs.
“We took a step in the right direction, and I think guys gotta understand that,” Wilson said, “because it’s exactly what we needed. We needed to give those guys a game, and we came in ready to play. … Guys gave it their all.”
The Jets had a chance to play spoiler and knock the Buccaneers down a peg in the NFL standings. But fans surely hope the stakes elevate next time around, with Zach Wilson battling for their own playoff positioning in the seasons to come.
