Given the current landscape of the league, the 2018 NFL Draft is expected to be quite quarterback-heavy early on. Among the notable names is UCLA quarterback Josh Rosen.

Although Rosen is one of the best prospects in his class, he is often the odd man out when it comes to who will be taken first overall. This could be why he said he is looking forward to this year's combine during an appearance on Sirius XM NFL Radio:

“I'm really excited to get in front of them & show them who I really am, looking forward to getting to whatever team I do & just focus on football….. excited to put all my time into that”

Rosen endured a tumultuous career at UCLA amidst injuries and a few polarizing comments. Regardless, there is no denying that his skill set certainly translates to the next level.

However, there has not been much love from the early mock drafts that have labeled him as either the third or fourth-best draft prospect at his position. As of right now, the consensus is split between USC's Sam Darnold and Wyoming's Josh Allen as the two top quarterbacks of this class.

Meanwhile, there are talks of Oklahoma's Baker Mayfield potentially going to the Cleveland Browns due to what many have dubbed as a “seamless fit” with the organization.

Needless to say, Rosen has seemingly heard all the doubts about his game loud and clear. His comments indicate that he may be entering the combine with a bit of a chip on his shoulder.
