After missing all but two games this season before Sunday's matchup against the Jets, Olsen caught one pass for 10 yards. The severity of Olsen's foot injury was not disclosed shedding doubt on whether it could be a season-ending issue or something that can be nursed back to health before Week 13 when the Panthers face the New Orleans Saints on the road.

The Panthers won their eighth game of the season on Sunday coming out on top against the Jets, 35-27. Carolina's defense and special teams came up big against New York with Luke Kuechly scoring off a fumble recovery and Kaelin Clay scoring off a 60-yard punt return.

Cam Newton and company are very much in contention to win the NFC South as they battle back and forth with the Saints. Week 13's matchup with Drew Brees' squad will be crucial for both teams with the division lead on the line.
