Injuries derailed the Philadelphia Eagles season in 2019. Still, the team managed to go 9-7 and make the playoffs for the third-straight season. As a result, the Eagles are slotted with the 21st pick in the upcoming NFL Draft.
However, per sources told to NFL reporter Benjamin Albright, Philadelphia is not only looking to draft a wide receiver in the first round of the draft, but to move up ahead of the Broncos to do so. According to the same sources, the Eagles are afraid they will not be able to draft the receiver prospect they covet.
With Denver sitting at pick No. 15, the Eagles would move into the top half of the first round, likely to draft a dynamic pass-catching prospect.

Injuries to Philadelphia's core wide receivers decimated the team's offense last season to the point where the team was forced to use practice squad players and former college quarterbacks to fill the spot.
Alshon Jeffery, Nelson Agholor, and DeSean Jackson are all examples of key receivers for the Eagles who missed multiple games this past season, making the team's need for fresh legs at the position more than apparent.
