The Pittsburgh Steelers need to get back on track during their all-in 2025 season. Pittsburgh lost in Week 2 and could really use a win on Sunday against the Patriots. Thankfully, they have favorable matchups on both sides of the ball. And fantasy football managers should be thrilled about the hype surrounding Jaylen Warren before Sunday's game.
Steelers quarterback Aaron Rodgers wants to see more of Warren in Pittsburgh's passing game.
“Jaylen is a great player,” Rodgers said after losing in Week 2, per The Athletic's Mike DeFabo. “That was an awesome catch and run. He brings a lot to the table. We might have to keep giving him more opportunities in the pass game, because every time he touches it, something good happens.”
Warren has thrived as a receiver through two games. His production has even outpaced his rushing stats.
The 26-year-old running back has hauled in all six targets this season for 108 receiving yards and a touchdown. He also has 25 rushing attempts for 85 yards.
Pittsburgh's front office must be pleased to see Warren thriving after giving him a contract extension before Week 1.
Hearing Rodgers praise Warren's catching ability is great news. It would not be surprising to see Pittsburgh take the advice of their veteran quarterback.
Steelers teammates praise Jaylen Warren amid potential breakout season

Rodgers is not the only Steelers player who is high on Warren.
Steelers offensive tackle Broderick Jones is also a big fan of his teammate. As an offensive lineman, he enjoys that Warren can gain yardage that is not blocked for him.
“Jaylen makes his own success honestly,” Jones said. “He comes in every day working with the right attitude, and you can see it on Sundays when he goes out there. He’s very slippery. He’s a small person, but he got fire behind him, too. He just brings that type of mentality to the game. He has that swagger about himself that nobody can stop him.”
Even DeFabo himself praised Warren and suggested more touches for him could be good for Pittsburgh's offense.
“The development of the young offensive line is the most critical part of that equation, but leaning on Warren more as the lead back could add a needed boost from the backfield.”
Steelers at Patriots kicks off at 1PM ET on Sunday.
