The Pittsburgh Steelers were barely able to get by the Cleveland Browns in Week 1. A hot topic of discussion following the close call against Browns was Le'Veon Bell's lack of touches and whether that would change in Week 2 against the Minnesota Vikings.

Quarterback Ben Roethlisberger was recently asked about Bell's performance and the lack of carries. Roethlisberger only concerned about communication with his feature back and believes the two are on the same page moving forward, via Steve Gentille of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette.

“The biggest thing for me when we get out there is communication. Is he asking a lot of questions? Is he looking bug-eyed, if you will, when plays are called or things like that? And there was none of that. I thought there was great communication, so in that sense I think we were on the same page.”

Bell will have his work cut out for him in Week 2 going against the eighth-best run defense in the league after Week 1. The Vikings were able to contain all three running backs the New Orleans Saints threw at them on Monday Night Football, including Adrian Peterson who was aiming to make an impression against his former team.

Minnesota gave up only 60 yards on the ground with the longest run being nine yards. New Orleans also failed to reach the end zone with their rushing attack as the Vikings pulled away, 29-19.

Last week, the Browns held the Steelers to only 35 yards rushing leading the league in that category with the first game of the season in the books. Pittsburgh will almost certainly try to get the run game going in Week 2, but it remains to be seen whether they'll be able to do so.
