The Pittsburgh Steelers are in the middle of playing the Cleveland Browns in an important AFC North showdown. This team is doing everything they can to defeat Cleveland, as Mike Tomlin drew up a fake field goal play in an attempt to catch the Browns off guard. Instead, it led to Chris Boswell getting unnecessarily blown up.

According to Dov Kleiman, the Steelers went for it on third down with a fake field goal attempt. The kicker, Chris Boswell swings to the right trying to find an open target. He eventually lets it go but is blown up along the sideline as he throws the ball.

Kleiman brings up a valid point, as Boswell appears to have been injured on the play. Why not just put the offense on the field instead of risking it with your kicker? Of course, a fake field goal brings the element of surprise. However, the kicker isn't the best passer on the team at all. For the Steelers, it's a damned if you do, damned if you don't scenario.

Regardless, it's not every day we see a kicker or punter get hit without a flag being thrown. He gets obliterated along the sideline, as it looked like Boswell was thrown across the stadium on the hit. Hopefully, he's not hurt too badly, and it's a quick recovery for the Steelers kicker.

Chris Boswell is one of the more accurate kickers in the NFL. Losing him could be detrimental to the Steelers season. Unfortunately, according to Andrew Siciliano, Chris Boswell has been ruled out for the remainder of the game.

Make sure to tune into the game, as the Steelers and Browns have recently begun the second half. It's a close game and it looks like it will come down to the wire. With both teams needing a win here, this is one of the most important matchups of the week.
