Ex-Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Antonio Brown was in the news Sunday for all of the wrong reasons. It's still not clear exactly what caused Brown to exit Sunday's game vs the Jets, though what is clear is that the talented wideout's inappropriate behavior is nothing new. Former Pittsburgh Steelers head coach Bill Cowher, formerly employed by the franchise that used to sign Brown's checks, spoke out on the wideout's behavior.

“It’s a pattern of behavior,” Cowher said. “We’ve seen it everywhere he’s been. You could see it from the time he was in Pittsburgh, to the Raiders, to New England, and where he is right now. It’s sad. An intervention is really needed right now.”

Former Steelers head coach Bill Cowher is exactly right about Antonio Brown. This behavior is nothing new from Brown.

He made news for the wrong reasons in Pittsburgh, from screaming about how no Steelers defenders could touch him at practice because of how important he was to the franchise, to filming ill-timed videos on social media in the team's locker room.

As Cowher said, this pattern of behavior has followed Brown wherever he has gone in the NFL, with so many more instances of his poor choices.

Antonio Brown needs help, whether he wants to accept it or not- and former Steelers head coach Bill Cowher is right to shed light on that fact.
