There finally appears to be some clarity on Pittsburgh Steelers star running back as he has indicated that he will be back in the fold with the team during the Week 7 bye ahead of the Oct. 28 matchup against the Cleveland Browns.
Despite this latest development, head coach Mike Tomlin has voiced that he has no update on Bell's situation concerning when he will return to the Steelers this season, according to Jacob Klinger of Pennlive.com.

This is likely a matter that Tomlin doesn't want to make any statements about Bell until it is set in stone that he will, in fact, be back by that timeline. Up to this point, there hadn't been any set date for him to back in the fold as there was only speculation that he would be back by the Tuesday following Week 10 due to that being the deadline to get credit for the 2018 season in order to become a free agent next offseason.
The 26-year-old's pending return should provide a significant boost to the offense that has struggled to over the last few weeks with production in the backfield with James Conner. Since garnering 195 total scrimmage yards in the season opener, the second-year running back has notched that same yardage over the last three games played.
Ultimately, it is still a fluid situation that Tomlin wants to avoid discussing for the time being until Bell gets back into the fold. There should be more clarity to come on this matter in the coming weeks as that expected return approaches.
