The Pittsburgh Steelers have continued to have star running back Le'Veon Bell's contract loom overhead of the franchise as the season rolls along into Week 4 action.
With that in mind, head coach Mike Tomlin has made it clear to reporters that he doesn't want to touch on the subject of Bell moving forward because there is nothing else to add to the situation, according to Michael David Smith of ProFootballTalk.

There have been no updates on the matter and where things are progressing over the last few weeks since the regular season began. It appears Bell is set on maintaining his holdout through the deadline to get credit for playing the 2018 season, which is on the Tuesday after Week 10. It is the only looming deadline that is present for him to follow in order to become a free agent next offseason.
At the same time, there has been some growing dialogue around the team that they are willing to move Bell if the right offer is presented to them. This wasn't the case before, but now he reportedly could be had if the trade offer is seen fit for the type of player he has become over the last few years.
It is still a fluid situation that should have more clarity to it over the next few weeks. That will give the Steelers a strong idea of where Bell stands, not only with his outlook for this season but well beyond that.
