Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Chase Claypool was already forging a career day versus the Philadelphia Eagles. He has now seemingly put the icing on the cake with yet another trip to the end zone.
Claypool managed to secure the hat trick on a screen pass from quarterback Ben Roethlisberger to extend the lead, via NFL Twitter:

The Steelers clearly had high hopes for Claypool when they took him in the second round of the 2020 NFL Draft. However, the rookie was still trying to find his footing in this offense with only six receptions for 151 yards and a touchdown heading into Week 5.
Fortunately, Claypool has managed to take full advantage of this choice matchup against a generous Eagles' secondary. This performance has certainly helped him make a case for an increased role for the rest of the 200 NFL season.
Claypool's emergence is also further evidence of the Steelers' ability to find talented wideouts in the draft.
