Los Angeles Rams star wide receiver unfortunately had his first Super Bowl appearance cut short by a knee injury, which was eventually revealed to be a torn ACL. There was some frustration expressed on social media about the conditions of the field that potentially led to Beckham's injury. San Francisco 49ers wideout and fellow NFL star Deebo Samuel spoke out with a stern, 4-word message to the NFL after Beckham's Super Bowl injury.

49ers wide receiver Deebo Samuel has a point-blank message for the NFL after Rams star Odell Beckham Jr's injury in the Super Bowl. Samuel believes the NFL should ban turf as a field surface.
Article Continues BelowIt's not surprising to see Samuel take that stance, as the 49ers experienced five injuries on the turf field of MetLife Stadium in a Week 2 game against the New York Jets last year, losing star players, such as Nick Bosa, who also had a message for the league following the Beckham injury in the Super Bowl.
It's not clear how much of an injury risk is presented by a turf surface compared to others, though Samuel- and others- certainly feel that the NFL would be better off with an option like the natural grass field at the 49ers' Levi's Stadium.
One can bet that Rams star Odell Beckham Jr likely feels similarly after the injury that robbed him of more playing time in the Super Bowl.
