As the San Francisco 49ers look to advance to the NFC Championship Game for the first time in six years, Richard Sherman just pulled off a throwback.

That would be because the five-time Pro Bowler made Minnesota Vikings QB Kirk Cousins pay on this pass. As Cousins was looking for Adam Thielen, Sherman picked off Cousins for his first postseason INT since 2014.

Due to Sherman's pick, the 49ers would end up taking a commanding 24-10 lead over the Vikings.

The veteran cornerback has previously won a Super Bowl as a member of the Seattle Seahawks. Sherman had a resurgent year in 2019, being named to his first All-Pro Team since the 2015 season.

The 49ers currently hold a 27-10 lead early in the fourth quarter, Sherman could be lined up against his former team in the NFC Championship Game. That's assuming the Seattle Seahawks can get past the Green Bay Packers at Lambeau Field.
