The Green Bay Packers might be down Aaron Rodgers, but another Aaron is trying like hell to help fill the void. Early in Green Bay's opening drive on Sunday, Aaron Jones went 45 yards untouched to scored a touchdown against the New Orleans Saints.

Here is the footage:

So, uh, maybe those Saints defenders should at least try to touch the guy running the ball. Just a suggestion.

For those unaware, Aaron Jones was drafted by the Green Bay Packers in the fifth round, 182nd overall, in the 2017 NFL Draft. This isn't his first big event rodeo, as in a game against the Dallas Cowboys in Week 5, Jones tallied 19 carries for 125 yards.

This kind of running obviously eases the transition from Hall of Fame QB to backup gunslinger for the Packers. While it is still incredibly early on Sunday, it will be interesting to see how Green Bay approaches the rest of the game now that it has the lead.

Nevertheless, no matter what happens from here on out for the Packers, Jones' touchdown run is a great sign. If nothing else, and it might be nothing else, it is a superb confidence booster.

As for Brett Hundley, at least at the time of this writing, he has only attempted one pass so far. It was not a completed pass. The man tasked with replacing Aaron Rodgers will need to do a little bit more passing, for a lot more completing, if the Packers hope to make it through the Rodgers-less era in decent shape.
