Rivers was seen commenting on an Instagram reaction post from Complexsports, detailing first-hand what it was like trying to stop Damian Lillard from the Nuggets' point of view.

“Bro….he was not missing for shit 🤦‍♂️. 1 had in his face, 2 hands in his face. Lol I’m like wtf is this. Banking threes and sh*t. In all seriousness It’s really fun to guard him. He’s as tough as they come. No lie,” said the Nuggets guard.

When the Blazers star is en fuego like he was in Game 5, offering up a prayer that he'll miss honestly becomes your best defense. Lillard was an insane 17-for-24 from the field, nailing 12 of his 17 three-point attempts. Those included the game-tying triples that forced the double overtimes for Portland.

Damian Lillard and the Blazers find themselves with their back against the wall for a do-or-die Game 6 against the Nuggets.
