The depleted Denver Nuggets only fielded in nine players on Friday night against the Milwaukee Bucks, but it didn’t stop them from scoring their biggest win on the season. All nine guys contributed in a big way in their impressive 127-115 road victory over the Bucks.

In addition to their best win of the season, Denver also made history by becoming the first team to have 9 players score in double-figures and each on make at least one three-pointer in a single game, per Mike Singer of The Denver Post.

All Nuggets players who played on Friday scored at least 10 points, with Will Barton top-scoring for them with 24 points and six three-pointers. He scored 13 points in the third quarter and drilled in half of his three-point makes in the period.

Malik Beasley also provided a solid scoring punch off the bench with 16 points, who also knocked down five triples. Michael Porter Jr. scored 15 points and grabbed 11 rebounds off the bench, while Nikola Jokic, who was recently named to his second All-Star appearance, posted a near triple-double with 15 points, 10 rebounds, and nine assists.

All in all, Denver converted 22 of their 48 three-pointers on the night, good for a blistering 47.8 percent. The Nuggets poured it on the third period, where they outscored the Bucks 40-24.

This was definitely a statement win for the Nuggets. What made the win over the league-leading Bucks more impressive is they were without three of their starters, Jamal Murray, Paul Millsap, and Gary Harris, who are all still out with their respective injuries.

Denver currently sits at no. 2 in the Western Conference with a 34-15 record, trailing the top-seeded Los Angeles Lakers by just three games. They look to inch closer to the first spot when they visit the Detroit Pistons on Sunday.
