Mike Malone's Denver Nuggets have been playing as one of the best teams in the league recently. Their 34-18 record puts them in fourth place in a competitive Western Conference. The roster is stacked with talents with guys like Michael Porter Jr. and Aaron Gordon surrounding Nikola Jokic. They're capable of matching up with anyone, making them a dangerous team to play against in the upcoming playoffs.

Team chemistry has played a large factor in the Nuggets' success this season. The roster plays as one cohesive team which is something they'll need to rely on in the postseason. However, it appears as though the head coach, Mike Malone, and rising star, Michael Porter Jr., have developed a bromance between each other, per The Denver Post.

“I definitely sense it and appreciate it,” Porter said when asked about the trust of Malone, the Nuggets' coach, following Denver's eighth straight victory, and second straight over San Antonio, Friday night at Ball Arena.

“It's definitely there. We've got a good bond. And all of us have got a good bond right now. And that chemistry is going to take us a long way.”

That budding relationship between Malone, Porter Jr., and the rest of the team is what could elevate their game to new heights. They're currently one game behind the third-place Los Angeles Clippers and with 20 games left on their schedule, the Nuggets have a shot at earning a top-three finish.

Look for the Nuggets to continue dominating as they take on the Boston Celtics on Sunday during a day game. This could be the night Denver closes the gap, furthering their chances of being a top seed in the Western Conference.
