The Denver Nuggets are reportedly signing 22-year-old PJ Dozier to a one-year deal, according to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.

Details of Dozier's contract were not disclosed, but he'll most likely stick around for the duration of the training camp. Whether he can land a roster spot with the Nuggets remains to be seen.

Dozier went undrafted in 2017 and has seen very little action in the NBA. He played only six games for the Boston Celtics last season, averaging 3.2 points and 2.8 rebounds.

It is unclear if Dozier will have any kind of impact for the Nuggets, especially since the team has Jamal Murray and Monte Morris handling point guard duties.

Denver is expected to be one of the best teams in the Western Conference once again. Last season, they finished with the fourth-best record in the league, and although they were eliminated in the Western Conference semi-finals, a lot of people believe they are bound to get better.

If Dozier can prove that he can be a legitimate contributor for the Nuggets, he might just stick around for the duration of the season. For now, he'll most likely spend time in the G-League.

Just like every aspiring youngster, Dozier has a chip on his shoulder. He wants to prove that he belongs in the NBA, and only time will tell if he's really fit to be in the big league or not.
