Nikola Jokic may be the most unique player in the league today. In a game against the Chicago Bulls, the Denver Nuggets center pulled off a behind-the-back move to snag a bucket and simultaneously draw a foul from fellow Euro, Lauri Markkanen.

This is just one of the incredible highlights in the Nuggets' win over the Bulls at Pepsi Center. Eager to bounce back from being blown out by the Golden State Warriors earlier in the week, Chicago is having to take on a Nuggets team firing on all cylinders, led by a Nikola Jokic that can seemingly do it all.

Jokic has been putting up numbers worthy of MVP consideration this season. The Serbian big man is averaging 19.7 points, 10.1 rebounds, 7.5 assists, 1.3 steals, and 0.7 blocks per game. As the leading distributor and creator for his team, his assists have him averaging 2.6 more dimes than his starting point guard, Jamal Murray. At only 23 years old, there has already been discussion that Nikola Jokic could be the best passing big to play the game.

With an incredible touch like he displayed on the night, it’s obvious the Nuggets have something special in him and no wonder they are turning the corner as one of the hottest teams in the league. Heading into Thursday night's game 29-14 and only one game behind Golden State in the conference standings, Denver is poised to follow up their absence from the playoffs last season with home court advantage this year.

If Nikola Jokic keeps playing this way, he may even be in the running for some personal trophies of his own in addition to trying to chase one for the team.
