Denver Nuggets center Nikola Jokic hit one of the craziest shots of the NBA season in Monday night's win against the Toronto Raptors.

Unfortunately for Jokic's stats, the shot didn't actually count.

The 7-footer received an inbounds pass with seven seconds to go in a one-point game, and just as he was hit in the face by Raptors star Kawki Leonard, Jokic hurled the ball towards the goal.

And yes, the ball actually went through the net.

There are several layers that make this rather impressive.

For starters, he takes a nice little bump from Leonard that throws his balance off quite a bit, making it difficult to have such accuracy.

And then there's the fact that it was a shot that extended several feet beyond the arc, which makes it even more mystifying as to how Jokic was able to pull off such a feat.

However, the good news for Jokic and company was that they still managed to come out victorious while halting Toronto's eight-game winning streak in the process.

Jokic finished with a triple-double on the night in contributing 23 points, 15 assists, and 11 rebounds.

The win helped Denver move to 16-7 on the season, which is currently good enough for the top spot in the Northwest Division.

Next up for the Nuggets is a trip to Orlando to take on the Magic on Wednesday night.

Perhaps Jokic will have more tricks up his sleeve when Denver takes the court for that game.
