The rich will soon get richer, with Ohio State head football coach Ryan Day sharing some injury updates on Buckeyes stars. In a preview press conference ahead of the Wisconsin game, Day said he “expects” to have running back TreVeyon Henderson and wide receiver Emeka Egbuka available this week, per Bill Rabinowitz.

Henderson and Egbuka are both crucial starters to the Buckeyes program. They bring the ability to spark the offense, which hasn't completely found its rhythm this season. Henderson has now been sidelined for three weeks with an undisclosed injury. The star tailback missed ample time last season with a broken foot and has now missed nearly half of the Buckeyes' games in 2023.

Egbuka has dealt with his own issues, suffering an injury against Maryland in Week 6. He's missed back-to-back games for Ohio State with a leg injury. Egbuka did not make the trip to Purdue the following week and was listed as a game-time decision against Penn State.

Both players seem to be gradually progressing, with hopes of playing in this week's matchup against Wisconsin on the road. During their time away from the team, Ohio State has remained undefeated. They hold the No. 3 slot in the AP Poll with wins against No. 10 Penn State and No. 14 Notre Dame.

Ohio State is favored in each of their remaining football games, aside from one. A classic showdown between the Buckeyes and Michigan Wolverines will take place on Thanksgiving weekend, and the Buckeyes need all the help they can get. With a fully equipped OSU roster, they can compete with any program in the country. TreVeyon Henderson and Emeka Egbuka will look to pick up right where they left off and help Ohio State continue its unbeaten streak in the second half of the season.
