It has been confirmed that American gymnast Simone Biles has decided to pull out of the 2021 Tokyo Olympics on Tuesday. Her decision came after she endured mental health problems over the past few weeks throughout the build-up to and during the actual Olympic games.
Biles' unprecedented decision has generally been met with support, but unsurprisingly, there have been some folks who have opted to criticize the 24-year-old for allegedly refusing to perform her duty for her nation. Actress Leslie Jones is sick of all the slander and she had a no-holds-barred NSFW message for all of Biles' haters:
I support you Simone whatever you do!! @TeamUSA pic.twitter.com/bVE9mB9YHD

Leslie Jones did not hold back with her message here to all those who believe that Biles' decision was selfish, or even worse, for those who are so hatefully saying that she's weak or a coward for withdrawing from the competition. Jones is having absolutely none of that and she made sure her message was heard. The Saturday Night Live actress even took a shot at the âbâch aâ motherâersâ that âcan't even wear a fâing mask.â
While there are some who continue to hate on Biles, her teammates are clearly in full support of her decision. Here's the heart-rendering moment that Biles told her team about her decision:

We cannot stress enough how extremely serious mental health issues truly are. Kudos to Simone Biles for being âtough enoughâ to make this life-altering decision to save herself.
