Toronto Blue Jays star Bo Bichette brought down the house at Rogers Centre in Toronto Saturday night, when he launched a towering 442-foot home run in the bottom of the third inning to put his team on the board first in Game 7. But before that, fans were left up in arms over a decision he made not to go for it in the second inning, apparently because he's still not at 100 percent form.
Bichette, who dealt with an injury going into the World Series, decided to stop at third base after Ernie Clement hit a single off Dodgers starter Shohei Ohtani. The inning later ended without the Blue Jays capitalizing on the runners they put on base, as the score remained even at 0-0.
Bo Bichette had to stop at 3rd base to a bad hamstring.

Online, fans had a lot to say about Bichette stopping at third base.
“Why is Bo Bichette in the game if he can’t run because his knee ?” asked a social media user on X, formerly Twitter.
“If Bo Bichette can’t run the bases, he shouldn’t be playing in this game. He is going to cost the Blue Jays the World Series,” another one echoed the sentiment.
“Bichette shouldn’t be playing if he can’t score on that,” shared a commenter.

From another social media user:”Yeah, he's hurting his team right now. Really sucks to see.”
Of course, no one is doubting Bichette now, following what could be the game-winning hit of the contest, as the Blue Jays look to win their first World Series title since 1993.
Bichette entered Game 7 batting 6-for-19 with three RBIS and three walks in the World Series.
