The Aaron Rodgers trade rumors have grown somber around the NFL world. As the Packers continue to find a good trade destination for the veteran quarterback, the situation has altered head coach Matt LeFleur in a negative way. LeFleur has built a strong relationship with Rodgers since his hiring as head coach in 2019.
According to Garrett Stepien of 24/7 Sports, LeFleur opened up about his feelings on the Rodgers situation. Although he did not want to go into detail about his recent conversations with Rodgers, he expresses the accomplishments that the team has had with Rodgers leading the way.

I mean, this guy is our quarterback, man, and he's our leader of our team and I want nothing more than to see him back in a Packer uniform and we've been able to accomplishment a lot of great feats over the last two years — two straight NFC Championship Games. I know the seasons haven't ended the way we've wanted 'em to, but in my eyes, he's the greatest to ever do it. I don't care about Super Bowls or whatnot, but we want him back here.”
LeFleur doesn’t want to imagine a Green Bay Packers roster without Aaron Rodgers as the leader. He wants to remain optimistic that things will work out the way he believes to. The Packers in two seasons under LeFleur have had a combined record 26-6 and have dominated the NFC with their impressive performances.
Rodgers has spent 17 seasons as a part of the Packers organization. Throughout his career, Rodgers has been a part of nine Pro Bowl games along with winning a Super Bowl championship in 2011. Rodgers is known as one of the greatest quarterbacks to ever play due to his passing ability and total touchdown passes.
There is no timetable for whether Rodgers will be traded at this moment. According to ESPN.com, Rodgers has become “disgruntled” by the front office and wants a trade soon. Rodgers is still under contract with the Packers until the end of the 2023 NFL season.
