New Orleans Saints defensive back C.J. Gardner-Johnson managed to add further insult to injury for the Atlanta Falcons by intercepting Matt Ryan.

During the play, it appears that there was a significant miscommunication between Ryan and his receiving target. Ryan seemed to think that the receiver was going to continue towards the left side of the field but that did not end up being the case, which enabled Gardner-Johnson to make a play on the ball.

The Falcons were without Julio Jones during this game and it seems that even if he would have been in the lineup, they would have struggled. However, without their top receiver, Atlanta's offense has looked like a mess.
