ESPN's Zach Lowe says he's going to keep his eye on the Milwaukee Bucks as a potential trade partner for Indiana Pacers shooting guard Victor Oladipo.

Lowe, who is pretty well-connected in NBA circles, isn't reporting that the Bucks have interest in trading for Oladipo. He's just merely naming them as a team to keep an eye on with the 2020 transaction period coming up soon.

“I'll give you a team I'm keeping an eye on with Victor Oladipo,” Zach Lowe on his ESPN podcast, via Real GM.

“Milwaukee. Just keeping my eye on them. That's all I'm going to say. I'm keeping my eye on them.”

Oladipo and the Pacers weren't able to agree to a contract extension before the 2019-20 season started. The high-flyer is set to become an unrestricted free agent in the offseason of 2021 and the Pacers may have to trade him out of fear of losing him and not getting anything in return.

The Bucks need a third option on offense behind Giannis Antetokounmpo and Khris Middleton. Milwaukee also has to convince Giannis they are serious about winning a championship, as the two-time MVP can become a free agent in 2021 as well if he doesn't sign the supermax extension this offseason.

By acquiring Oladipo, the Bucks would clearly send a message to Giannis that they are all in on winning a title.

The Pacers hired their new coach on Tuesday, former Toronto Raptors assistant Nate Bjorkgren. He better develop a good rapport with Oladipo fast, as there have already been rumors about the former Indiana Hoosiers star being unhappy in Indiana.
