If the 2019-20 season resumes, the Indiana Pacers will have combo guard Malcolm Brogdon back in the lineup.

In a video posted on Pacers Twitter, Brogdon said he's 100 percent recovered from his torn left rectus femoris.

Before the season got suspended due to the coronavirus pandemic, the Pacers were in fifth place in the Eastern Conference standings. Indiana had a solid record of 39-26 despite All-Star shooting guard Victor Oladipo and Malcolm Brogdon missing a handful of games.

Oladipo appeared in only 13 games this season, as he was recovering from the injury he suffered in 2018-19 against the Toronto Raptors at home.

In his first season with the Pacers, Brogdon was averaging 16.3 points, 4.7 rebounds and 7.1 assists. He was also shooting 43.9 percent from the field, 31.3 percent from beyond the arc and 89.5 percent from the free-throw line.

The Pacers are hoping the season resumes, but if it doesn't, it will give Brogdon and Oladipo time to work on their bodies. Moreover, it will also be beneficial for Jeremy Lamb, who suffered a torn ACL, torn meniscus and fracture in his left knee in the middle of the 2019-20 campaign.

Brogdon, who began his career with the Milwaukee Bucks and won the 2017 Rookie of the Year Award, has career NBA averages of 13.5 points, 3.8 rebounds and 4.3 assists in 235 games with the Bucks and Pacers. Indiana acquired him from Milwaukee in a sign-and-trade deal.

With the Pacers, Brogdon signed a four-year, $85 million contract. He was making $20 million this season and is set to make $20.7 million in 2020-21.
