Aside from the stellar play of shooting guard Victor Oladipo, the Indiana Pacers have also enjoyed the emergence of center Myles Turner into becoming one of the most promising young bigs in the league. Not only has he become a versatile scorer, but his prowess as a rim protector has helped the Pacers become arguably the most surprising team of the year.

Despite Turner's success so far, he seems intent on finding any way to boost his offensive reportoire. Among the moves he has been practicing is Dallas Mavericks superstar Dirk Nowitzki's patented one-legged fadeaway.

“It's a move of mine I've been working on, trying to craft for a long time now. I don't want to always settle for that but it's a move I know is tough to guard.”

Nowitzki has become one of the NBA's all-time leading scorers thanks to that shot. As a result, many players have tried to emulate it and now, Myles Turner is just the latest.

The Pacers center is well-regarded for his physical tools as a big man. However, it is encouraging to see that the third-year man out of Texas is such a student of the game. Furthermore, the video also shows that he and Oladipo have been spending plenty of time in the gym together which bodes well for the Pacers' future.
