Indiana Pacers guard Victor Oladipo has been previously linked to numerous trade rumors in the offseason which raised question marks surround his future with the team. The two-time All-Star decided to finally put an end to the speculations and reaffirmed his commitment to Indianapolis heading into his fourth campaign with the Pacers next season, as per ESPN‘s Eric Woodyard.

The former Indiana Hoosiers product found his way to his old stomping grounds when he was included as a trade piece in the blockbuster trade that sent Paul George to the Oklahoma City Thunder prior to the 2017-2018 season.

His arrival in Indiana eventually slotted Oladipo in the largest role that he has had throughout his playing career. He tallied career-best numbers of 23.1 points, 2.4 steals, and 0.8 blocks per game through 75 games played in his first campaign with the team.

Oladipo's numbers dipped in the following season after he suffered a ruptured quad tendon which sidelined him for an extended amount of time. After almost a year of absence, the swingman made it back to the Pacers and played for the team in the 2020 NBA Playoffs.

Armed with the fourth seed in the Eastern Conference with a 54-28 record, Oladipo and his team faced off with a gritty Miami Heat squad. The absence of Domantas Sabonis due to a left foot injury dug a gaping hole in the team's frontline rotation.

The Pacers were eventually bounced out of the playoffs with a series sweep dealt by the Heat. Oladipo is also set to enter the final year of his four-year contract signed back with the Thunder in 2017 and will enter free agency in the 2021 offseason.

After being able to finally get his feet back following a disappointing campaign, Oladipo is looking ready for a big year ahead of him with hopes of leading his team back to the postseason in the 2020-2021 season.
