Yet again, Indiana Pacers guard Victor Oladipo owned the highlight reel. He just had what's probably one of the most dazzling plays of his career Friday night, as he left the Los Angeles Lakers defense eating dust on his way to the rack.

It happened during a key part of the game. The Pacers were behind for much of the contest but was gaining momentum towards the final stretches of the fourth quarter. With the lead only four and the remaining time down to under six minutes, Oladipo dribbled left courtesy of a Domantas Sabonis screen. He moved past Lakers guard Josh Hart and faced the help defense of Larry Nance Jr., who he then baited hard to the left before doing a sweet, quick spin move, en route to a two-handed slam.

Only a few players standing 6-foot-4 can make moves like that look easy, and Oladipo is at the top of that group. There’s no question that it’s the best play this week, and arguably a top 10 play this season.

Unfortunately, though, the highlight just serves a cool consolation for the Pacers, as they struggled to find a rhythm all game long (shot 38.1 percent from the field). They lost for the second-straight night, 99-86, despite the Lakers not having Brandon Ingram, Lonzo Ball, and Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, and also shooting a horrid 2-for-14 from the free throw line.

Moving forward, Oladipo can be expected to continue doing the heavy-lifting for the Pacers. He's having a career year so far, compiling averages of 24.3 points, 5.3 rebounds, 4.0 assists, 1.9 steals, and 2.6 threes per game.
