The Green Bay Packers reportedly have no plans to have conversations with the Pittsburgh Steelers regarding a trade for wide receiver Antonio Brown.

In the latest twist in the saga, it was reported on Thursday night that Brown was set to head to the Buffalo Bills in a move that surprised everyone.

However, the trade fell through after Brown made it clear that he didn't want to go to Buffalo, which means that the Steelers are still looking for a trade partner.

But despite reports that the Packers were interested, it appears that they are not, according to ESPN's Rob Demovsky:

While the Antonio Brown situation rolls on, the Packers won't jump in now and were not involved before. They never had any conversations with the Steelers about the receiver, according to league sources with knowledge of the Packers' actions.

Given the way that this thing has played out, it makes sense that Green Bay wouldn't want to take a risk on trading for Brown.

At this point, the Steelers have an interesting situation on their hands, as there seem to be very few teams that are willing to make a deal happen.

So, the drama continues with one of the best receivers in the league, and that may be what causes even more teams to pull back from potentially making a trade with the Steelers.
