The list of injuries grows larger and larger for the Green Bay Packers. Entering their Week 7 matchup against the Arizona Cardinals, they were already missing the services of Davante Adams and Allen Lazard due to COVID protocols, and now, they may have suffered another big loss in tight end Robert Tonyan.

While going for a routine stiff arm on a run, Tonyan took a rough spill and tumbled to the floor. The Packers TE went down on the ground holding his left leg, heightening worries for a possible ACL tear. (via David J. Chao)

As Chao noted in his tweet, Tonyan was able to walk off the field on his own power. However, that's not really a good indicator of the severity of the Packers TE's injury: in the NBA, Klay Thompson injured his ACL in the Finals but was able to walk on his own and shoot free throws. Being able to put weight on your injured leg isn't as big of a clearance as people think it is.

The Packers are already suffering from the effects of the injury bug. Aside from Tonyan, they also missed defensive end Kingsley Keke due to concussion protocol. Wide receiver Marquez Valdes-Scantling also is set to miss time for the Packers as he was placed on the injured reserve list.

Despite all the injuries, the Packers stayed resilient in their match against the Cards. With the game on the line, Rasul Douglas stepped up big-time and picked off Kyler Murray's pass to win the game and go up 6-1 on the season. They'll need a lot more of that gutsy play if they want to survive this long injury line piling up behind them
