Green Bay Packers wide receiver Davante Adams has not played up to his normal standards this year, but he helped his cause with a fourth-down touchdown reception from Aaron Rodgers against the NFC North rival Chicago Bears on Sunday (via NFL).

Rodgers, who turned 36 years old nearly two weeks ago, floated a pass on 4th & 4 far beyond the requisite first-down marker, finding Adams for the score in a clutch play early in the game to break the scoreless tie.

It was just the 26-year-old two-time Pro-Bowler's fourth touchdown reception of the season after tallying 13 just a year prior.

Adams has missed four games this season earlier in the year but returned in Week 9. Since then the former second-round pick has been good and occasionally great, like his seven-reception, 118-yard game against the Carolina Panthers in Week 10.

Adams should be a huge part of the offense and a prime target for Rodgers as the playoffs approach.
