The New Orleans Saints scored their first touchdown thanks to a couple of big plays from running back Alvin Kamara. Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers responded with a big drive of his own, helped by receiver Allen Lazard.

Rodgers found Lazard for a 48-yard bomb to put his team on the goal line, via NFL Twitter:

Lazard then capped the drive with a touchdown reception from Rodgers.

There had been plenty of concern regarding the state of Rodgers' receiving corps heading into Week 3 after Adams was ruled out with a hamstring strain. Fortunately, Lazard has found a way to step up to the challenge by emerging as his go-to option early on.

Lazard enjoyed modest production while serving as the complementary option to Adams during the first two games of the 2020 NFL season with the Packers. His performance so far indicates that he could be poised for an increased role in the offense.
