There has been much attention on the New England Patriots that have been largely centered on star quarterback Tom Brady's standing with the franchise.

This has now shifted to Brady possibly dealing with a sore back that has limited his availability on the practice field over the last few days in training camp. Despite that, head coach Bill Belichick has decided to sidestep questions concerning the 41-year-old's health, according to Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk.

“No,” Belichick said. “Sorry, Tom. I don’t.” (It’s nice to see Curran finally asking some hard-hitting, Shaughnessy-style questions.)

The decision to go this route in handling this situation shouldn't come as much of a surprise as Belichick has historically been tight-lipped about these type of situations. He has avoided talking about injuries in the past especially any of those regarding Brady. The fact that this has occurred in training camp has made it a focal point of discussion given that he's entering the 19th year of his career.

There doesn't appear to be much concern with Brady's health at this point as it may just require some rest for him to get past it. What has also benefited Belichick at this point is that teams don't have to report injuries in training camp that allows for these situations to remain undisclosed without any information to pinpoint what exactly could be ailing a player. This is exactly the case for Brady as the team is hoping that he can push his way beyond this minor situation.

The Patriots are hoping that the reigning league MVP can put together another impressive campaign that can lead them to yet another deep playoff run to the Super Bowl. This current injury is something that could simply be a minor hiccup along the way for Brady heading into the 2018 season.
