The New England Patriots are now officially veteran wide receiver Julian Edelman's team. With future Hall of Fame quarterback Tom Brady currently a member of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers alongside another former Patriots standout in tight end Rob Gronkowski, Edelman will surely be forced to carry the majority of the workload in New England moving forward — especially with an up-and-comer like quarterback Jarrett Stidham under center.

However, it appears to be business as usual for Edelman this offseason — well, on social media anyway. Edelman recently paid homage to both Star Wars and the legendary Michael Jordan as both topics seemingly took over the world over the course of the last few days.

Even in the absence of his good friend in Brady, it seems as though Edelman hasn't lost a step in the flare and confidence departments as it is definitely the same ole “Jules” gearing up for the upcoming 2020-21 campaign.

Despite the fact that the legacy of the heralded Patriots, Edelman will now need to help lead the AFC East franchise back to glory without many of his former teammates in the fold. In fact, the Patriots will enter the 2020-21 campaign as a middle of the pack franchise in the AFC and especially the AFC East, as it appears as though the division is currently the rival Buffalo Bills to lose this time around.

However, even though Brady is no longer in New England, perhaps longtime NFL head coach Bill Belichick once again knows something that nobody else does. If that is indeed the case, Edelman will be right at home in 2020-21 en route to helping New England return to the postseason for what seems like the millionth time in a row.
