The New England Patriots are listening to offers for wide receiver N'Keal Harry.

Mike Garafolo of NFL Network reported the Patriots have taken calls on Harry, whom New England selected in the first round of the 2019 NFL draft.

Harry has had a hard time giving the Patriots the production Bill Belichick likely envisioned when he made the former Arizona State standout his first selection in 2019.

The Toronto native played just five games his rookie season due to injury, recording just 12 catches for 105 yards. He was targeted seven times in New England's playoff loss to the Tennessee Titans but managed just two receptions for 21 yards.

Better health did not translate to more success in 2020.

Harry played in 14 games this past season, but he had just 33 catches for 309 yards. Granted, Cam Newton and the Pats were not overly dangerous moving the ball downfield through the air. But Harry still did not look like a guy who could eventually become the team's No. 1 receiver.

That said, Harry has the attributes to be a playmaker. He is big and physical at 6'4″ and 225 lbs, and size is usually quite beneficial at the wide receiver position. Harry also had just one drop in 2020 and has displayed good hands.

Would New England really give up on Harry so soon? The Patriots have a quarterback dilemma, and the receiving corps could thin down pending Julian Edelman's possible retirement. New England could add via free agency, but Belichick will surely want to address other holes, as well.

Perhaps the Patriots sell high on Harry in the event they get a deal they cannot pass up. Otherwise, it seems likely the 23-year-old will be back in New England in 2021.
