The Patriots are throwing punches at a rate which would make Joe Frazier and Muhammad Ali proud. Belichick has landed four major targets on Monday alone, nabbing tight end Jonnu Smith from the Tennessee Titans, Matthew Judon from the Baltimore Ravens, Jalen Mills from the Philadelphia Eagles, and now Agholor from the Las Vegas Raiders.
The Patriots and Belichick know they need to restock their roster and fortify their starting 22 with elite options. New England was knocked bag several pegs — not just one — in the 2020 AFC East. The Buffalo Bills won the division, but don't forget that the Miami Dolphins were second.
The Patriots and Belichick sense the urgency of the moment. This Agholor acquisition is the latest evidence of that.
