Patriots still betting favorite to sign Tom Brady in free agency

There has been much that has been made about where Tom Brady could be under center in 2020. Despite other teams being listed as possible landing spots, the New England Patriots are still the betting favorite to sign Brady in NFL free agency.

Since the end of the 2019 season, everyone has shared their opinion on where they believe Brady will play. Even though he is set to turn 43-years-old this year, there are going to be a slew of teams attempting to sign him in free agency.

Aside from the Patriots, the Tennessee Titans and Las Vegas Raiders are two possible candidates for the veteran signal-caller. As a matter of fact, Jeff Darlington of ESPN went as far as to say that the Titans and Raiders have better chances to sign Brady than the Patriots.

Previously in his career, it was a predetermined notion that Brady would remain with the Patriots. Now, after a less-than-ideal campaign, there’s a legitimate possibility that Brady ends his career elsewhere.

Of course, New England intends to do everything in their power to retain Brady. On Thursday, it was revealed that there hasn’t been much communication between Brady and the Patriots this offseason.

However, New England is anxiously waiting to see what transpires with the new Collective Bargaining Agreement. Once the terms of the CBA become clear, the Patriots will likely extend an offer to Brady. At the least, the Patriots are still frontrunners to some to keep Brady next season.
