New England Patriots wide receiver N'Keal Harry only played two snaps during the team's loss against the Kansas City Chiefs but he still gained confidence. One of the plays was a key once where Harry caught a pass from Brady during the 4th quarter and appeared to make it into the end zone.

The refs ruled he stepped out before getting into the end zone and the Patriots had no challenges left, so Harry didn't get to add a touchdown to his stat sheet.

Harry said that play gave him a lot of confidence because it reminded him of how he was being used during his time with Arizona State.

“Yeah, definitely,” Harry said via Ryan Hannable of WEEI. “Because it kind of felt like some of the stuff that I did in college — just getting the ball in my hand and being able to run with it. So that definitely helped, just seeing that I’m still able to do the same things.”

It's unclear the rest of the season how big of role Harry is going to have but he is ready to help the team anyway he can.

“I just want to do anything I can to help the team win and do my part and contribute,” Harry said. “… The way I look at it, when I get on that field, no matter if it’s 50 snaps or one snap, whenever my name is called, I have to be able to contribute.”

The Patriots are looking for a second receiver to step up behind Julian Edelman so maybe Harry can earn the coaches trust and step into that role.
