There has been some buzz about some players on the New England Patriots wanting to bring Antonio Brown back and Stephen A. Smith believes they should bring him back.

Brown is still being investigated by the NFL over some sexual assault accusations and Brown thinks if it's all clear that he committed the crimes he shouldn't be allowed on the field again, but if he is proven innocent, the Patriots should give him another chance.

“If Antonio Brown is guilty of any of the charges levied against him, he should be in jail, Smith said during Monday’s “First Take” episode. “If the NFL finds a shred of truth to what he is alleged to have done, he should be banned indefinitely.”

“… I mean, you talk about the quintessential individual that would be a perfect remedy for all that ails the New England offense, it would be this one man, Antonio Brown.”

There is no doubt the Brown would be a perfect fit for the Patriots offense, but all the red flags surrounding Brown are a real major issue. Julian Edelman is the top target for the Patriots and outside of him there isn't a whole let else.

Running back James White is the team's second-leading receiver with 512 yards. The next top receiver is Phillip Dorsett, who currently sits with 347 yards.

The Patriots currently sit with a 10-2 record and they have dreams of getting back to the Super Bowl. If Brown is cleared, there is no doubt he would be a big help to Tom Brady.
