Arizona Cardinals linebacker Terrell Suggs had been a bitter rival of New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady for years during his days with the Baltimore Ravens, but even he does not deny how great Brady is.

“What does he got? Five rings? Six rings? Got as many as [Michael Jordan]? What can I say to that,” Suggs said Wednesday on FS1's Undisputed. “Yeah, he's got six rings. Good for him.”

This may not seem like a big deal. After all, Brady does have six rings, which is two more than any other quarterback in NFL history, so he is unquestionably great. As a matter of fact, you would have come up with a pretty crazy argument to say that he isn't the best of all-time.

However, Suggs giving Brady credit had to hurt. Let's remember that these two guys simply do not like each other.

Back in 2013, Suggs had this to say about the signal-caller:

“I don’t like him,” said Suggs, according to ESPN. “He don’t like me. I don’t like his hair. I don’t know. I don’t like his smug attitude. But then again he probably doesn’t like my (expletive) attitude. … Everybody just seems to worship the guy, not me though.”

That comment from Suggs came a little less than a year after the Ravens actually defeated the Patriots in the playoffs on their way to a Super Bowl title.

But now, six years later, it appears that Suggs has softened his stance on Brady. Well, he still probably dislikes him, but he has found it within himself to give the man some dap.
