New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady is dealing with an injured elbow and has gotten a lot of extra treatment this season. Brady was in last week's injury report with the elbow injury and it was reaggravated during Sunday's game against the Kansas City Chiefs.

Brady said a lot of extra treatment has helped and the elbow has responded well.

“It’s responded well,” Brady told Jim Gray during his weekly interview on Westwood One. “I’ve gotten a lot of extra treatment with Alex, my body coach. It’s been good to be out there the last couple days participating and doing everything I can do. Any time you come off a tough loss you want to get back out on the practice field to try and improve with your teammates.”

Brady hasn't missed a game due to injury since 2008 and he made it clear that wouldn't be changing on Sunday against the Cincinnati Bengals.

“I'm feeling good,” Brady added. “It’s Week 15. Everyone is dealing with a couple bumps and bruises at this point, some worse than that. I'm very fortunate to be out there getting ready to go for a competitive game in Cincinnati on Sunday.”

The Patriots don't just need Brady to play on Sunday, they need him to play well. In each of the last three games, Brady has completed less than 53 percent of his passes and he has looked off. It's unclear if that is because of the injury or just because of age, but they need him to play better going forward.
