Following days of the conversation centering around New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady's right-hand injury, it has finally come full circle.

However, the 40-year-old, in his first media availability of the week on Friday, decided to downplay and skip through the discussion by simply voicing that he didn't want to speak on the reported injury.

Brady suffered the injury after colliding with one of his teammates at practice on Wednesday that led to him sitting out on Thursday. He was also seen dawning gloves on both hands that have only raised more questions about the severity of the injury. Although, he did undergo an x-ray on his hand that came out negative.

It is quite common for Brady to sit out a practice midway through the week leading up to a game. However, the timing of this heading into the AFC Championship Game only draws more attention to his status.

At the same time, the fact that he's choosing to not speak about the injury shows that there is a little concern about the situation. Prior to that, head coach Bill Belichick also deflected any questions concerning Brady's right hand.

Throughout Brady's illustrious career, he has shown to be quite a durable player playing in nearly every game that he has been eligible to play since becoming the full-time starter. He has only missed time during the 2008 season where he suffered a torn ACL in the season opener.

Although there are doubters such as Jacksonville Jaguars defensive tackle Malik Jackson that Brady is even dealing with an injury at all, it will be one of the larger storylines heading into Sunday's game. The biggest concern at this points for the Patriots quarterback is trying to figure out ways to play effectively against arguably the best defense in the league that features a formidable secondary.
