Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson is now the possessor of the NFL's record of most regular-season rushing yards by a quarterback. New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady, who possesses his fair share of records himself, wants a piece of that.

After Jackson surpassed Michael Vick's record set in 2006 of 1,036 rushing yards (with the Atlanta Falcons) on “Thursday Night Football,” Brady took to Twitter to challenge the 22-year-old shot-caller. He wants to race Jackson, but with a twist: the 42-year-old doesn't have to wear rollerblades, the Ravens quarterback does.

Jackson in rollerblades in natural grass or Brady running with regular shows? Who will win?

Personally, it would be tough not to choose Jackson. Yes, the rollerblades are limiting factors, but let's not forget that he is one of the fastest quarterbacks ever to hit a football field. Brady, despite his 1,000-plus career rushing yards and six Super Bowl rings, is not. In fact, he is far from it.

That may not be a challenge that Brady could win, no matter how competitive he is. At the 2000 NFL Combine, the Patriots quarterback ran a 5.30 40-yard-dash. Though Jackson did not ultimately choose to run at the 2018 NFL Combine, it's reasonably likely that he could run laps around that digit.

Now, Brady has a chance. He may need some assistance along with the rollerblades. Perhaps if Jackson were strapped to a boulder, he could win. Perhaps. That 22-year-old is fast, watch “Thursday Night Football.”
