Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady is reportedly on the brink of retiring from the NFL at 44-years-old. After all, he's won seven Super Bowls already and has nothing left to prove. Well, when the moment does come that Brady hangs them up for good, he's expected to sign a one-day deal with the New England Patriots.

Via Bobby Thompson:

That will absolutely thrill Patriots fans, who got used to winning on a consistent basis with Brady steering the ship in Foxborough. During his time with the franchise, TB12 led them to six Super Bowl titles while winning four SB MVPs in the process. Talk about greatness.

The Patriots are obviously not the same franchise as past without Brady, but they do have a new quarterback at the helm in rookie Mac Jones, who showed promise in Year One.

Brady certainly has lots of love for the New England organization still. After all, they took a chance on him in the 2000 NFL Draft in the sixth round. Who would've known he'd turn into arguably the best signal-caller the game has ever seen.

It's been an illustrious career for Tom Brady and there is honestly no better way for him to go out than as a member of the Patriots.
